ARSENAL'S BELOTTI BID REJECTED

Torino have rejected a £56m bid from Arsenal for Andrea Belotti, says the Serie A club’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.

Petrachi also added that Torino have no intention of selling the Italy international, who has scored 17 goals in 21 matches for club and country this season.

When asked about a bid from Arsenal, Petrachi told Sky in Italy: "We received and refused a €65m (£56m) offer from Arsenal for Andrea Belotti, but it does not reflect the value of the player.

"Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we'll see what happens.

"We intend to keep Belotti and president Urbano Cairo signed this important buy-out clause. I think he's worth more than they have offered."

Sanchez has so far resisted Arsenal’s attempts to tie him down to a new long-term deal and there is understood to be a big disparity between his wage demands and what is on offer at the Emirates – around £200,000-a-week. Sanchez wants closer to £300,000-a-week, it is understood.

bolesne cifre

Kinezi, Siti, PSG i Čelzi prate situaciju

If Sanchez – or Ozil – were to leave then Arsenal would step up their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus. However they cannot proceed with exploring whether they can sign the German international until they know the futures of their two biggest names and the impact that has on their budget.

West Ham have made an improved bid of £5m for Hull Citymidfielder Robert Snodgrass, according to Sky sources.

Premier League champions Leicester City met today with the agents of Ludogorets right-winger and Lazio and Lyon target Jonathan Cafu, according to RMC.

Cafu’s name is on a five-man shortlist that Ligue 1 outfit Lyon currently have as they seek to bring in an attacking talent this month.

PAYET 'DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY'

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has been speaking about the future of Dimitri Payet at his press conference and this is what he's had to say...

"We have said we don't want to sell our best players but Dimitri Payet does not want to play for us. We are not going to sell him.

"I spoke to the Chairman and this is not a money issue. We gave him a long contract because we want him to stay."

SCHLUPP CAN LEAVE LEICESTER

Claudio Ranieri has revealed he will allow winger Jeff Schluppto leave the club this month if another club can meet Leicester's valuation of him.

The Italian added he can only keep two left-sided players in his squad and he is retaining Christian Fuchs and Chilwell.

Crystal Palace had a £9.5m offer for Schlupp rejected this week, while West Brom had three bids turned down during the summer transfer window.
